Idaho H0653 amends existing law to revise provisions regarding wildlife relocation, particularly focusing on bighorn sheep. The bill mandates the development of a state management plan to maintain a viable, self-sustaining population of bighorn sheep. It requires the Idaho Department of Fish and Game to provide written agreements to affected federal or state land grazing permittees or owners or leaseholders of private land before any transplant or relocation of bighorn sheep.
