Idaho H0600 amends the Public Records Act to allow aggrieved parties to file complaints regarding denied requests for disclosure and revises.

Idaho H0600 amends the Public Records Act to allow a person aggrieved by the denial of a request for disclosure to file a complaint in the district court. The complaint must be filed within 180 days of the notice of denial. The court reviews the filings and may request an in-camera review of the documents. The judge issues a decision within ten working days. The public agency must keep the documents in question until the end of the appeal period.
