Idaho H0581 amends existing law to authorize the Idaho Legislature to review court rules in certain instances. Specifically, the legislature can review rules when there is a conflict between court rules and Idaho Code, or when rules abridging, enlarging, or modifying substantive rights are found. The legislature must advise the supreme court of such conflicts through a house or senate resolution. The act declares an emergency and will be in full force and effect from July 1, 2026.
