Idaho H0545 amends existing law to provide for the licensure of certain persons who have served as a chaplain in any branch of the United States military. This bill exempts these chaplains from taking an examination or paying an application fee. Chaplains must be residents of Idaho, have served in the U.S. military, and possess a DD form certificate of release or discharge with honorable discharge for all periods of active duty. The changes will take effect on July 1, 2026.
