Idaho H0543 amends the Public Employee Retirement System to revise provisions regarding qualified pre-tax contributions and investment earnings and certain qualified Roth contributions and investment earnings. The bill authorizes the board to establish supplemental benefit plans for allocation of extraordinary gains and voluntary contributions. It specifies that contributions must comply with Internal Revenue Code sections 401(a) and 401(k). The board is authorized to secure staff and consultants to administer these plans.
