Idaho H0534 amends existing law to revise provisions regarding the Parent-Student On-Road Driver's Training program. It allows qualifying parents or legal guardians to provide on-road driver's training to students in rural school districts or districts that do not offer driver's training courses. The parent or guardian must possess a valid Idaho driver's license, have no license suspensions or revocations, and complete a driving log for each training session. Students must also complete 30 hours of classroom instruction through an approved online course.
