Idaho H0530 amends existing law to establish provisions for coverage of anticancer medications under health benefit plans. It ensures that the copayment, deductible, or coinsurance amount for orally administered anticancer medications is not higher than that for injected or intravenously administered medications. Additionally, it limits out-of-pocket costs for a 30-day supply of orally administered anticancer medications to $250. The bill also prohibits reclassifying benefits with respect to anticancer medications. This act declares an emergency and provides an effective date of July 1, 2026.
