Idaho H0523 amends existing law to provide that certain persons may be banned from the Capitol building, the Supreme Court building, Capitol Mall properties, and multiagency facilities. The bill grants Ada County and Boise City jurisdiction to enforce laws and ordinances for the Capitol building and Supreme Court building. The director of the Department of Administration is responsible for security at the Capitol Mall properties and has the authority to contract with private contractors for security at other properties. Violations of rules adopted under the act are infractions.
