Idaho H0521 amends existing law to establish procedures for fingerprint screening by qualified entities serving vulnerable populations.

Idaho H0521 amends existing law to revise the release of criminal history record information and establish procedures for fingerprint screening by qualified entities. Qualified entities, which include businesses and organizations serving vulnerable populations, can submit fingerprints for screening. The Idaho Bureau of Criminal Investigation is the sole source for fingerprint submissions to the federal bureau of investigation. The bureau provides criminal history records to qualified entities for screening purposes.
