Idaho bill H0504 prohibits bulk lottery ticket purchases exceeding $5,000 within 24 hours.
Idaho bill H0504 amends existing law to prohibit bulk lottery ticket purchases. The bill defines "bulk purchase transaction" as any purchase exceeding $5,000 within a 24-hour period. The Idaho State Lottery is authorized to deny prize payments for tickets purchased as part of such transactions. The lottery can investigate suspicious purchase patterns and consider various sources, including video surveillance, to determine if a violation has occurred. The lottery's determination is final and binding.
