Idaho H0498 allows the state legislature to hire additional counsel for actions against the federal government.

Idaho H0498 amends existing law to authorize the president pro tempore of the senate and the speaker of the house of representatives to jointly employ private counsel in addition to the attorney general when the state's interest necessitates it for actions against the federal government.
