Idaho Medical Freedom Act prohibits COVID-19 vaccination mandates by businesses, schools, and government entities.
The Idaho Medical Freedom Act amends existing law to prohibit businesses, schools, and government entities from requiring COVID-19 vaccinations or other medical interventions. Businesses cannot deny services based on vaccination status, and schools cannot mandate vaccinations for attendance. Government entities cannot require vaccinations for benefits, services, or permits, except where federal law mandates it. Exemptions apply for personal protective equipment and travel to foreign jurisdictions. The act declares an emergency and will be in full force from July 1, 2025.
