Prohibits the establishment of immigration detention facilities on public lands in Hawaii.

This bill amends Hawaii Revised Statutes to prohibit the Department and Board from disposing of or approving the use of public lands for immigration detention facilities. An immigration detention facility is defined as a place where individuals are incarcerated while undergoing deportation proceedings. The bill also prohibits state or county agencies from contracting with the U.S. government for any purpose related to such facilities.
