This bill establishes a policy coordinator for Red Hill Water Alliance Initiative initiatives within the office of the executive director of the commission on water resource management. It creates the Red Hill remediation special fund to address contamination from the Red Hill Bulk Fuel Storage Facility. The bill appropriates funds for these purposes and amends the Hawaii Revised Statutes to expand the commission on water resource management's scope, repeal the deputy to the chairperson, and establish the executive director of the commission on water resource management.
