Hawaii SB46 amends state statutes to require individual and group accident and health insurance policies, as well as health maintenance organization contracts, to cover annual mental health wellness examinations starting December 31, 2025. These examinations, performed by qualified mental health care providers, must be up to sixty minutes in duration and exempt from deductibles or copayments.
