Expands the ban on pistols with a detachable magazine over ten rounds to all firearms with such magazines.
This bill expands the ban on pistols with a detachable magazine over ten rounds to include any firearm with such a magazine. It amends the Hawaii Revised Statutes to prohibit the manufacture, possession, sale, barter, trade, gift, transfer, or acquisition of detachable ammunition magazines with a capacity in excess of ten rounds designed for or capable of use with any firearm. Exceptions are made for magazines modified to accept no more than ten rounds and incapable of being restored to a higher capacity.
