The bill allocates funds from the Red Hill remediation special fund and general revenues of the State of Hawaii for fiscal year 2026-2027. It provides $11,169,513 for studies on remediation of substances released from the Red Hill Bulk Fuel Storage Facility, environmental monitoring and testing, groundwater modeling and sampling, and independent testing and verification of water data. The Department of Land and Natural Resources will manage these funds and seek reimbursement from the U.S. Department of Defense for the same period.
