Makes permanent the transaction fee for recording services in the bureau of conveyances and land court.
The bill amends Hawaii Revised Statutes to make permanent the transaction fee for recording services in the bureau of conveyances and the office of the assistant registrar of the land court. The fee of $5 per recording will be deposited into the bureau of conveyances special fund. This fund will support purchases of hardware, software, design and implementation services, staff training, and other related support services for the improvement of daily operations and automation of the bureau of conveyances.
