Hawaii SB1633 regulates the sale and distribution of edible and beverage cannabinoid products containing hemp.

Hawaii SB1633 amends the Hawaii Revised Statutes to regulate the sale and distribution of edible and beverage cannabinoid products containing hemp. It allows hemp processors with permits to sell products with a tetrahydrocannabinol concentration of up to 2.5mg per serving and no more than twenty-five servings per package. The bill also establishes a dedicated hemp program to regulate the processing and manufacturing of hemp for cannabinoids, separate from the regulatory process for cannabinoid products with a high concentration of tetrahydrocannabinol.
