Allows tenants and others to match offers to buy affordable housing properties.

This bill requires landlords renting affordable housing properties to notify tenants of their right to purchase the property. It allows tenants, local governments, affordable housing nonprofits, and community land trusts 45 days to match or beat offers to buy the property. If no eligible party matches the offer, the owner can proceed with the sale. The bill aims to preserve affordable housing and prevent displacement of local working families.
