SB1385 modifies the composition of the Early Learning Board in Hawaii. The bill changes the board to include one voting member from each of the counties of Hawaii, Maui, and Kauai, and three voting members from the city and county of Honolulu. Additionally, it adds three at-large voting members. The superintendent of education, director of human services, director of health, president of the University of Hawaii, and head start state collaboration office director will serve as ex officio, non-voting members.
