SB1317 amends Hawaii Revised Statutes to update the contents of citations issued by police officers.

SB1317 modifies Section 803-6 of the Hawaii Revised Statutes to update the contents of citations issued by police officers. The citation must include the offender's name, current address, last four digits of the social security number if available, a description of the offender, the nature of the offense, the time and date of the offense, a notice of the time and date for court appearance, the signature and badge number of the officer, and the signature of the offender agreeing to court appearance.
