This bill amends the Hawaii housing finance and development corporation's board of directors to include the chairperson of the Hawaiian homes commission, or their designee. The board consists of ten members, six of whom are public members appointed by the governor. The chairperson of the Hawaiian homes commission will be an ex officio voting member. The board is responsible for setting policies and priorities for the corporation's housing projects, which focus on developing and financing low- and moderate-income housing.
