This bill amends Hawaii Revised Statutes to exempt state projects from county building permit, inspection, and certificate of occupancy requirements if they comply with applicable building codes or construction standards. State agencies responsible for these projects must not apply for county building permits. Counties must accept the dedication of these exempt projects. The exemption does not relieve state projects from other state and county laws or regulations.
