Hawaii HB742 requires the Hawaii community development authority to prepare environmental impact statements for two transit-oriented development infrastructure improvement districts on Oahu: the Iwilei/Kapalama district and the University of Hawaii West Oahu district. The statements must analyze infrastructure improvements and building capacity within these districts, in addition to the requirements set forth in chapter 343, Hawaii Revised Statutes. The act takes effect upon approval.
