Hawaii HB641 mandates that health insurance policies issued or renewed on or after January 1, 2026, must cover traditional native Hawaiian healing and cultural practices when provided at federally qualified health centers or native Hawaiian health care systems. Insurers and mutual benefit societies must inform policyholders and subscribers about this coverage.
