Hawaii HB551 modifies the rate of payment for domiciliary care in adult residential care homes, licensed developmental disabilities domiciliary homes, community care foster family homes, and certified adult foster homes. The bill sets the state supplemental payment at $1,440 for facility type I and $1,530 for facility type II. It also allows the department to remove a recipient to another facility if the operator does not provide the required quality of care. The changes take effect upon approval.
