The bill allows the issuance of special number plates for motor vehicles to recognize the University of Hawaii Cancer Center. These plates must be similar in shape and size to standard plates, not obstruct required information, and not infringe on any copyrights or trademarks. The plates will have a fundraising fee, in addition to other fees, with revenue deposited into a separate county budget account for the University of Hawaii Cancer Center.
