Hawaii HB317 amends Section 184-3.4 of the Hawaii Revised Statutes to clarify that the state parks special fund can be used for permanent and temporary staff positions, planning and development of state parks programs, construction and maintenance of state parks facilities, and operation and maintenance costs. The bill repeals previous statutory material that included environmental protection programs and administrative costs of the division of state parks. This Act takes effect upon approval.
