The bill establishes a child care classroom contracts pilot program to subsidize child care by contracting for classrooms in licensed infant and toddler child care centers or group child care centers. The Department of Human Services will contract with eligible providers serving children aged six weeks to five years and families receiving federally funded child care subsidies. Contracts will last at least twelve months and may be extended. The pilot program will cease on June 30, 2028.
