The new Corporation for the Stewardship of Hawaii Tourism will guide the visitor economy in collaboration with public, private, nonprofit, and community stakeholders. The corporation will develop a vision for tourism, a long-range strategic tourism stewardship plan, and annual strategic tourism stewardship plans. Island destination stewardship councils will draft and approve long-term and periodic action plans.
