This bill amends Hawaii Revised Statutes to increase the exemption amount for real property from attachment or execution. The exemption amount for a parcel of real property owned by the head of a family or an individual aged 65 or older is raised from $30,000 to $90,000. For other individuals, the exemption amount is increased from $20,000 to $60,000. The changes take effect on July 1, 2025.
