The bill establishes a two-year centralized health care credentialing pilot program in Hawaii. The Department of Health will review existing practices, coordinate with credentialing entities, and measure process and outcome metrics. The program will include training, education, licensing, certification, and work history verification services. The Department may partner with private entities and accept donations. An advisory committee will provide recommendations. The Department will submit a report to the legislature with findings and recommendations.
