Florida S2518 creates the Step into Success Workforce Education and Internship Program to help eligible foster youth and former foster youth develop workforce skills and transition to independent living. The program includes an independent living professionalism and workforce education component and an onsite workforce training internship component. The Office of Continuing Care within the Department of Children and Families will develop and administer the program, including recruiting mentors and organizations, providing training materials, and offering internship opportunities.
