This bill allows hospitals to disclose certain information about admitted patients to law enforcement agencies to help identify or locate missing endangered persons. The information that can be shared includes name, address, date and place of birth, social security number, blood type, type of injury, date and time of death, and physical characteristics. Hospitals can also search their records to find potential matches to missing persons listed in the Missing Endangered Persons Information Clearinghouse.
