Florida S1514 revives and amends confidentiality rules for trade secrets held by Space Florida.
Florida S1514 revives, reenacts, and amends section 331.326, Florida Statutes, to make confidential and exempt from public records requirements any information held by Space Florida that is a trade secret. The bill also closes to the public and exempts from public meetings requirements any portions of Space Florida's board of directors meetings during which trade secrets are discussed. Records generated during these closed portions, such as minutes and notes, are also exempt from public records requirements.
