Florida S1000 revises eligibility requirements for court-ordered sealing of criminal history records. A person can petition a court to seal a criminal history record if it is not related to an offense for which the person was adjudicated guilty, among other conditions. The court may seal a criminal history record pertaining to one arrest or incident of alleged criminal activity, or more if they directly relate to the original arrest. The court must specify its intent to seal additional records in the order.
