The bill amends Florida Statutes to require the Department of Health to charge a reduced fee of $15 for the issuance, replacement, or renewal of medical marijuana use registry identification cards for qualified patients who are honorably discharged veterans. The reduced fee applies if the application includes proof of veteran status, such as a DD-214 form, a Department of Veterans Affairs identification card, a Uniformed Services identification card indicating retired status, or a Florida driver license bearing the veteran designation. The changes will take effect on July 1, 2026.
