This bill amends Florida law to allow qualified patients to cultivate up to six flowering cannabis plants for personal consumption and noncommercial purposes at their residence. It also permits these patients to purchase medical marijuana seeds and clones from a licensed medical marijuana treatment center. The bill specifies that the plants must be secured to prevent unauthorized access. The sale of patient-cultivated cannabis plants and products beyond the limits specified in this section is subject to penalties.
