Florida S0680 amends the definitions of "retail sale" and "utility service" in state statutes. It excludes the sale of electricity to the operator of an electric vehicle charging station from the definition of retail sale. It also excludes the sale of electricity to the public by an operator of an electric vehicle charging station from the definition of utility service. These changes apply retroactively to January 1, 2019.
