Florida S0640 amends the Senior Management Service Class of the Florida Retirement System to include additional managerial and policymaking positions. Effective January 1, 1994, positions in the offices of the state attorney and public defender may be designated for inclusion. Effective January 1, 2001, participation in this class is compulsory for assistant state attorneys, assistant statewide prosecutors, and assistant public defenders.
