Florida S0168 modifies the definition of public nuisances to include sites of gambling houses and redefines the role of legal assistants in nuisance abatement proceedings. The bill also removes the cap on fines for public nuisances and allows for the foreclosure of property with unpaid liens, except for homesteads. It takes effect July 1, 2026.
