The bill creates an exemption from public records and meetings laws for certain social worker information and meetings held by the Department of Health or the Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, and Mental Health Counseling. Specifically, personal identifying information of social workers, excluding their name, licensure status, or licensure number, obtained from the data system and held by the department or the board, is exempt if the information is discussed in meetings specifically exempted from disclosure by federal or state law.
