This bill applies to Jefferson County and limits compensation for health care providers and entities providing medical services and emergency transportation for inmates. Compensation for medical services cannot exceed 110% of the Medicare allowable rate if the provider does not have a contract with Jefferson County. Compensation for emergency transportation services cannot exceed 110% of the Medicare allowable rate if the entity does not have a contract with Jefferson County.
