The Florida Health Insurance Exchange Act creates the Florida Health Insurance Exchange within the Office of Insurance Regulation. The Exchange facilitates the purchase and sale of qualified health and dental plans. It must make qualified health plans available starting January 1, 2028. The Exchange must implement procedures for certifying health benefit plans as qualified health plans, provide a toll-free hotline, and maintain an internet website with comparative plan information.
