This bill ratifies specific rules for legal tender, amends definitions related to custodians of gold and silver coins, and repeals certain provisions. Effective July 1, 2026, upon legislative ratification of rules, it redesignates and amends subsections of section 560.103, Florida Statutes. It also revises the definition of "custodian of gold coin or silver coin" and "custodian" to include any person holding gold or silver coin for more than 10 days, excluding personal use or non-tender holdings. The act takes effect upon becoming law.
