Waives out-of-state fees for certain students at Florida universities, colleges, and career centers.
This bill amends Florida law to waive out-of-state fees for students at state universities, Florida College System institutions, career centers, and charter technical career centers. The waiver applies to students who attended a secondary school in Florida for three consecutive years, graduated from a Florida high school, applied for higher education within 24 months, and submitted an official transcript. The waiver also applies to undocumented students for federal immigration purposes who are U.S. citizens or lawfully present in the United States. The changes take effect July 1, 2026.
