Establishes a cybersecurity program for local governments in Florida, administered by Florida State University.

The bill creates the Florida State University Cybersecurity Protection Program, administered by Florida State University. It requires local governments to participate in the program and submit requests to use cybersecurity programs and software developed by the university. Fiscally constrained counties are given priority. Florida State University is authorized to apply for and accept federal funds to further the program. The act takes effect July 1, 2026.
