The bill amends Florida Statutes to mandate that each district school board adopt rules requiring the display of the state motto "In God We Trust" and portraits of George Washington and Abraham Lincoln in conspicuous places. The portraits must be displayed in classrooms primarily used for social studies instruction and in each kindergarten through grade 5 classroom. The Department of Education will select the portraits and make them available to each school district. The act will take effect July 1, 2026.
