Denounces President Donald J. Trump's statements about potentially nationalizing or commandeering elections.

This resolution denounces President Donald J. Trump's statements suggesting he may "nationalize," commandeer, or otherwise assume direct control over elections. It emphasizes that the Constitution assigns primary authority over elections to state legislatures and Congress, not the President. The resolution expresses concern that such statements undermine federalism, the rule of law, and public trust in democracy. It rejects any attempt by the President to exercise such authority without explicit constitutional or statutory grant.
